MullenLowe Lintas Group will launch a new independent agency in India by merging three of its existing divisions — GolinOpinion, LinTeractive, and LinEngage — which will work with brands such as Starbucks, Porsche, Lamborghini and Budweiser.
The newly-launched agency, to be called PointNine Lintas, will become operational by next month and will be headed by Vikas Mehta who will be the chief executive of the new entity. It will have a team of 180 professionals and will be working with around 50 brands.
The group will announce a leadership team for Point-Nine Lintas in the coming weeks. The new agency expands capabilities by adding new offerings to its service stack, including creative, media, and technology platforms. “We already have media buying and selective capabilities for digital.
Buying and selling for mass media is a part of the roadmap,” said Mehta who is currently group president, marketing services for MullenLowe Lintas Group.
