Hotelivate, the hospitality consulting firm which was launched by former HVS Asia-Pacific chairman Manav Thadani after he ended his 20 year partnership with HVS, has tied up with US-based LW Hospitality Advisors (LWHA), a hospitality valuation and advisory firm which competes in the US with HVS.
Hotelivate, which also launched its office in Singapore and is opening another one in Bangkok, said the partnership is aimed at marketing and collaborating with each other across the North American and Asia Pacific regions.
LWHA provides services focused exclusively on hospitality, gaming and real estate in North America and works globally with corporate, institutional, and individual clients, as well as with municipalities and governmental agencies on all facets of hospitality real estate.
“We want to build on a global presence. We would be running our own businesses but it’s a strategic partnership with them. We will continue to focus on Asia Pacific but, wherever required on a global basis, we will do tie ups,” Thadani said.
“There are vast pools of hotel owners, investors and developers in North America who are keen to benefit from the fast-growing opportunity set in Asia. Conversely, Asian investors see a lot of value in extending their reach to the west. Hotelivate and LWHA are ideally poised to assist our respective clients in their growth strategies across the globe now,” he added.
