Mcleod Russel Board approves Scheme of Amalgamation
Mcleod Russel India Ltd has informed BSE that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on December 04, 2007 has approved the Scheme of Amalgamation of The Moran Tea Company (India) Ltd with the Company with effect from April 01, 2007. Pursuant to the said Scheme of Amalgamation which is subject to various approvals Four (4) new Equity Shares of Rs 5/- each in the Company credited as fully paid up will be issued for every One (1) Equity Share of Rs 10/- each fully paid up held by the Members of The Moran Tea Company (India) Ltd in the capital of the said Company.
