Times Centre for Learning Ltd, a Times Group initiative and University of Chicago Booth School of Business have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate in promoting quality professional education in India. The MoU is purely an indication of interest on part of TCLL and University of Chicago Booth School of Business to work together. Chicago Booth will be the knowledge partner for TCLL and allow it access to university research, publications and alumni network. It will also make its professors available to TCLL for events and seminars in India. Deepak Lamba, chief executive of TCLL, Times of India Group, said TCLL continues to strive to provide professional education to Indian learners across 21-40 age group and that the association will prove a decisive milestone. William Kooser, associate dean, global outreach at the University Of Chicago Booth School of Business said, “We continually strive to build mutually beneficial partnership and look forward to this engagement with TCLL. We hope that this alliance will provide great opportunities for both Booth and TCLL. We look forward to creating new educational programmes and identifying ways for our faculty to interact with executives and other professionals in the region. This partnership will provide terrific opportunities for sharing of ideas and developing solutions to many of the world’s key business issues.” Times Centre for Learning Ltd is a subsidiary of the Times of India Group and has 21 state-of-the-art training centres across India.
