Cognizant Technology Solutions on Monday announced it is buying out Servian and Linium — taking the total number of such acquisitions to 11 over the past 12 months.
Linium is a cloud transformation consultancy group specialising in ServiceNow platform and solutions. It is a unit of Ness Digital Engineering, a privately-held portfolio company of The Rohatyn Group. Servian is an Australia-based enterprise transformation consultancy firm that specialises in data analytics, artificial intelligence, digital services and Cloud.
Linium is Cognizant’s seventh cloud-related acquisition since January 2020.
While the valuation of the latest deals was not disclosed, Cognizant is estimated to have spent $1.4 billion on acquiring digital businesses over the past one year.
“Linium’s specialized ServiceNow focus broadens Cognizant’s enterprise service management capabilities while complementing our own longstanding ServiceNow alliance,” said Malcolm Frank, president-digital business and technology at Cognizant. “Creating more agile workflows in the cloud is a priority, and together with Linium, we can now provide world-class, enterprise-wide ServiceNow expertise to customise workflows for customers and employees. We look forward to Linium’s team joining Cognizant.”
Upon completion of the deal in the first quarter of 2021, Linium’s 150 employees will join Cognizant’s global ServiceNow practice. Headquartered in Albany, New York, Linium also has operations in Canada, India, and the UK.
