One is into superfoods, the other is into vegan fare. Both have unusual names, love animals and want to save the planet. And now, the superfoods maker has gobbled the vegan brand.

Superfood startup Nourish You on Thursday announced the acquisition of vegan dairy brand One Good. As part of the deal, the One Good team, including CEO & cofounder Abhay Rangan, CFO & cofounder Radhika Datt, and COO Dhivakar Sathyamurthy, will join the leadership team at Nourish You.

“One Good’s journey is revolutionary. It was born with a vision to create the next big dairy company devoid of animals. Moreover, it is led by a team of fervent vegans dedicated to both innovation and animal protection. The acquisition integrates Nourish You’s commitment to animal welfare with our existing values of nourishing consumers, farmers, and the planet,” said Krishna Reddy, cofounder, Nourish You.

Nourish You’s products are available in over 2,500 retail stores. It has expanded into the superfoods category with a range of products made with fills, muesli and plant-based milk. The company is backed by marquee investors, including Zerodha’s Nikhil Kamath, actor Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Darwinbox’s Rohit Chennamaneni, Triumph Group’s Y Janardhana Rao, Gruhas Proptech’s Abhijeet Pai, KIMS Hospitals’ Abhinay Bollineni, and others.

Founded in 2016 under the name Goodmylk, Bengaluru-headquartered One Good is known for its ‘vegan dairy’ products, such as milk, cheeses, chocolates, curd, ghee, butter, and more.

Speaking on becoming a part of the Nourish You, Rangan said, “Our journey towards creating One Good was ignited by a passion for animal rights and a dedication to accessible and affordable plant-based alternatives for all. We are excited about being a part of Nourish You’s incredible platform and leveraging their scale and operational excellence to build India’s biggest plant-based dairy company.”
