GECOM International, engaged in the business of establishing collaborative arrangements between Indian and foreign universities, has acquired a luxury triplex apartment in Mumbai’s central business district Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC) for nearly ₹100 crore.
The educational management company has purchased this apartment spread over 11,295 sq ft carpet area on the 15th habitable floor of a ready-to-move-in super-premium residential tower.
The buyer has paid nearly ₹6 crore towards stamp duty alone for the registration of the transaction that took place on January 10, showed the documents accessed through indexTap.com. As part of the deal, GECOM will get exclusive access to a total 10 car parking slots in the tower. Several prominent personalities from the corporate world, Bollywood, and the banking fraternity have already bought apartments in this residential project.
Apart from Uday Kotak, other buyers are Gautam Adani, Vikram Pandit, Gunit Chaddha and Mihir Doshi. Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Ashok Wadhwa and Sonam Kapoor have also bought an apartment in the project.
