Denmark’s DSV said on Tuesday it had fulfilled all closing conditions, including getting the necessary regulatory approvals, for its 14.3 billion euro ($16.2 billion) acquisition of German rival Schenker.
DSV expects to complete the transaction on April 30, it said in a statement.
The Danish company announced the deal to buy the logistics arm of German state rail operator Deutsche Bahn in September last year. It will create the world’s biggest freight forwarder.
