The government is reviewing the Supreme Court’s order on liquidation of Bhushan Power and Steel Ltd and it will take a view on the matter based on the discussions with the senior government advocates, said M Nagaraju, secretary – department of financial services (DFS), which is housed under the Finance Ministry.
“I have already reviewed (the order) with all the lenders. We have taken a position, we have studied the judgement, we have got our advocates’ view on the judgment. Now we are taking a view in the government on how do we approach the judgment. We will finalise soon,” he said on the sidelines of an event organised by the National Housing Bank here on Monday.
