Altium Ltd said on Monday it had not received a new offer from Autodesk Inc, after a media report that the Australian software maker had rejected a fresh bid from the U.S. company and that the deal had fallen through.
Altium’s shares sank nearly 14% following the report in The Australian newspaper, before trading was paused.
Altium had rejected a A$5.05 billion ($3.74 billion) takeover bid from Autodesk last month as too low, but said it would engage with interested parties and review all potential strategic alternatives.
