CHENNAI: Manufacturers of ‘Medimix’ brand of soaps and personal care products, AVA Group, today announced its foray into the food business with acquisition of Melam Brand of masalas for an undisclosed sum. “AVA Group is expanding into the foods business by acquiring Kerala-based Melam brand of Masalas, Curry powders, spices from M V J Foods India, for an undisclosed amount,” a company statement said.
