Industry:    2017-06-02

Bennett University has entered into an agreement with Cornell Law School to facilitate collaborative efforts to deliver an Ivy League BBA+LLB programme in India. Cornell Law School is a part of Cornell University, an Ivy League university in Ithaca, New York.

Bennett University’s five-year BBA+LLB honours programme will have a competitive edge over similar programmes as it will provide students with an international interface.

The BBA programme is being offered in association with Johnson Cornell and the LLB program is being offered in association with Cornell Law School.

The curriculum designed by Johnson Cornell and Cornell Law School will include a visit to Cornell University for a one-week immersion programme. Students can learn from faculty at both schools.

The tie-up will also give an impetus to startup ideas at Bennett Hatchery formed in collaboration with Babson Global of the US.

Founded by The Times of India Group, the multi-faculty, research-led Bennett University started operations in July 2016 with the promise of making students ‘life and career ready’. The university offers programmes across engineering, management, media, and law. ET is part of the Times of India group.
