Industry:    1 month ago

Canada’s Boyd Group said on Wednesday it has agreed to acquire autobody repair solutions provider Joe Hudson’s Collision Center, or JHCC, from TSG Consumer Partners for $1.3 billion.

Boyd, which runs autobody and auto glass repair facilities across North America, said the acquisition adds 258 collision locations across the U.S. Southeast to its portfolio, bringing its total locations to 1,273.

“Through the acquisition of JHCC, we are expanding our presence in the growing region of the U.S. Southeast,” Boyd’s CEO Brian Kaner said.

He added that JHCC’s growth plans and operations fit well with Boyd’s existing network and approach.

JHCC operates auto repair shops in 18 U.S. states, primarily across the Southeast, and posted $722 million in sales for the twelve months ended June 30.

The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2025, Boyd said.
