IAN Invests In Online Jewellery Store Fourseven

Delhi-based online fashion jewellery and accessories store Fourseven, has secured about R3 Cr ($450 K) in Pre-Series A round from Indian Angel Network. The round led by Sumit Dhingra and Rajiv Mehta from IAN, will also be joining the board of the company. The proceeds will be utilize towards expanding its team, increase product range and investing in its technology platform. Founded in 2014 by Rebekkah Kumar, Fourseven (operated by Fourseven Services Pvt Ltd) is an online jewellery store selling premium and contemporary jewellery. It currently has over 1,000 SKUs (stock-keeping units) across items such as bracelets, anklets, necklaces, rings and earrings. The company functions on an omni-channel model that combines both online domain and marketplace channels with strategic offline retail channels. Deals in space: Jewellery and accessories e-tailer Voylla.com, owned and operated by Bangalore-based Voylla Retail Pvt Ltd, had raised about R97.92 Cr ($15 Mn) in a fresh round from Peepul Capital. Mumbai-based Pipa + Bella, a private label fashion jewellery e-tailer, had raised R3.8 Cr ($600 K) in pre-Series A funding round led by Singapore-headquartered Lionrock Capital along with participation from Teruhide Sato (Beenos) and angel investor Roopa Nath.
