E-commerce and online transaction company Ibibo Group, has acquired a minority stake in cloud-based hotel services startup Djubo for an undisclosed amount. The investment round has been routed through Ibibo Group’s Singaporean entity MIH India E-commerce. Djubo is a cloud based 360 Hotels Sales Platform. It manages booking confirmations, room hold requests, room queries, online channel partners, booking engine, payment follow up and much more through a single interface. It has an invisible online channel manager integrated seamlessly with a cloud based CRS (centralised reservations system) represents the latest out there in terms of technology to help hotels maximise revenues. IbiboGroup is a JV between South African media conglomerate Naspers and Chinese internet-focused strategic investor Tencent. The key portfolio organizations of the group include Goibibo.com (Online Travel); Tradus.com (Online Marketplace); PayU.in (Online Payments), Gaadi.com (Auto Classifieds) & redBus (Online Bus ticketing).
