Oremus Corporate Services, a Hyderabad-based finance and accounting and business process outsourcing firm for small and medium enterprises on Wednesday announced the acquisition of UK-based BPO firm Escribe for Rs 8 crore.
Escribe’s subsidiary ELTA is a large licensed trade accounting services provider in Chester, UK, and has offices in Chennai and Mizoram, the company said in a statement.
Oremus, which has a client base in the US and India, is planning to expand its footprint in the UK through this acquisition.
Founded in 2002 by Raj Rayaprolu, Bala Padmanabhan, and Suresh Gupta, Oremus provides F&A and back office services including accounting, payroll, compliance and advisory services from its multiple offices in India and other countries, the company said.
