Sierra Atlantic buys UK firm Iterion
IT services provider Sierra Atlantic with a significant presence in Hyderabad has announced the acquisition of UK-based Iterion, an independent consultancy with presence in Europe. Iterion has a reputation in project management; business analysis and technology implementation; and in human capital management and payroll solutions. The deal value was not disclosed.
European Presence
With this acquisition, Sierra Atlantic is adding local domain talent to their outsourcing model while strengthening its European presence. Both Sierra Atlantic and Iterion bring over two decades of excellence in enterprise services serving over 500 customers globally.
The Chief Financial Officer of Sierra Atlantic, Mr Bob Hersh, in a statement said: "The driving factor in this acquisition is the market shift from large scale commoditised outsourcing to business process and local domain knowledge centric outsourcing." Iterion’s focus in human capital management domain and Sierra Atlantic’s enterprise application capabilities are expected to compliment each other in the European market.
