Valuemart acquires 74% stake in Datatalk
Valuemart Info Technologies, an IT and BPO solutions company, has acquired 74% stake in a Bangalore based IT & BPO company, Datatalk Services (India). Post acquisition, the acquired company will become a subsidiary of Valuemart.
C K Vasudevan, managing director, Valuemart, said, "The acquisition will help us acquire premium clients and broad base our services offerings in the BPO segment." The company’s competencies lie in sectors like banking, financial services, insurance, legal and manufacturing verticals.
Datatalk offers direct marketing, customer acquisition and retention and telemarketing services in the domestic market.
Share price of Valumart was trading at Rs 7.65, up 6.55%, on the Bombay Stock Market at 1040 hrs.
