Warburg Pincus, Hande group to invest $1 billion in China joint venture

Warburg Pincus and Hande Group will invest a total $1 billion in a new joint venture to pursue special situations investments in real estate projects in China, the companies said on Wednesday.

The joint venture’s commitment will be $1 billion and it targets to reach assets under management (AUM) of $5 billion within the next three years, the companies said in a statement.
